yesterday i visited oshkosh (wi) and watced the set being built for the latest johnny depp film ';public enemies'; and i was speaking to some of the crew working on the set/props about how they got involved, and they told me to apply at.....something something something.lol.
they said they worked for a wisconsin union, but i cant find any info online.i think they said something like'; google AU 740';but i cant find anything.
i am a professional decorative painter and am very interested in finding out more info. do you have any insight for me?

More often than that they were referring to the IASTE Stagehands Union. I think the number is 470 as opposed to 740. this group also covers motion picture.
